Welcome to our warm and inviting Isle of Wight retreat, set in one and a half acres of formal garden and gentle, rolling countryside. Our holiday home is a perfect place for up to 10 guests to unwind and enjoy quality time together. Surrounded by nature and close to the coast and walking trails, The Meadows is a superb base for you to create your ideal holiday. Step into our spacious open-plan modern kitchen, which flows naturally into large communal living areas perfect for family gatherings. Enjoy indoor dining with lovely views over a lush meadow or cook outdoors in the well-equipped kitchen under open skies.
For quiet moments indoors, retreat to the separate snug—ideal for watching TV, playing games or reading, or even enjoying a friendly game of darts. Thoughtfully designed with plenty of parking and practical amenities throughout, every detail is centered on your ease and comfort. A relaxing 7-minute stroll takes you to two of the island's best beaches, while a vibrant village centre with pubs and the Seaview Yacht Club are just a 15-minute walk away. Experience a memorable stay that feels like a warm homecoming, with every day offering a chance to relax, explore, and create new cherished memories.
Explore The House
The Meadows has a spacious open plan feel and laid out over two floors with the downstairs containing a large entrance hall, open plan kitchen, living room, dining room, snug and downstairs loo plus two en-suite bedrooms. The upstairs contains a large en-suite master bedroom with a balcony overlooking the meadow and two further bedrooms with a shared bathroom.

The spacious downstairs features a well appointed kitchen with American style fridge freezer. A separate dining room has large bifold doors overlooking the meadow. The living room has a large corner sofa with TV and a large window overlooking the house garden.

The house garden has as its centrepiece a large lawn which is perfect for playing games. Large established oak, hawthorne and fir trees surround the lawn and a side gate leads to the adjacent 1.2 acre meadow. The terrace has garden dining furniture which seats people and a gas bbq.

The front drive has enough parking for several cars

The downstairs library has a selection of books and board games for guests to enjoy and a second TV
Food deliveries from Waitrose and Tesco
Groceries can be ordered online in advance and delivered to The Meadows.

THINGS TO DO
Visit the nearby beaches
Two of the Island's best beaches, Seagrove Bay and Priory Bay are a short walk away.
Local pubs, restaurants & shops
Seaview has two excellent pubs, ice-cream parlours and cafes and Bembridge (10 minute drive) offers an excellent choice of places to eat as well as fishmongers, butchers and bakers.
Sailing, Water-sports & Activities
Sailing tuition, dingy hire and various other water-sports can be arranged locally. Other activities including coasteering, rock climbing and archery are also offered on the island.

Bird & Nature Watching
We are fortunate to have a huge variety of birds at The Meadows from local garden birds to herons, owls and kites. You will also likely see red squirrels and rabbits in the meadow and garden. At dusk you may also see bats flying around the house garden.
Cycling
The Island has an excellent reputation for cycling. If you have a few hours to spare the Round Island course passes 200m from the front door.
Horse Riding
Local riding centres offer private and group rides including beach rides along Seagrove Bay
